Laguna Cuyabeno

Esta laguna de aguas obscuras, es parte de un sistema que incluye aproximadamente 14 lagunas interconectadas entre sí, en la Reserva faunística de Cuyabeno entre ellas están la Laguna Grande, Caimancocha, Patococha y la Quebrada de la Hormiga. Cuyabeno tiene un altísimo número de especies animales, aquí se han identificado 494 especies de aves, incluida el águila arpía, símbolo de la avifauna de la zona.
