Esta plaza se caracteriza por estar rodeada de un sinnúmero de “viejitos” que habitan este valle conocido como de la “eterna juventud”, y es que este lugar se ha dado a conocer por la longevidad que alcanzan sus habitantes. Cerca de la plaza también se ubican la mayoría de negocios, sobre todo de artesanías.
