Amazon Rainforest
Description:
The amazonian region of Ecuador is home to exuberant tropical rain forests with great biodiversity and species that can only be found there. There is an infinite variety of mosses, vines, bromeliads, ferns, orchids, palms, lilys, and large-leaf plants that absorb a large part of the sunlight. Due to the special climatic conditions, topography, and geology in this zone, both amazonian and Andean species can be found here.
