Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve is one of the most remote, ecologically responsible and cultural sensible Ecolodges in the world. Kapawi Ecolodge sits deep in Ecuador's south eastern part of the Amazon Basin, near the Peruvian Border in a remote and pristine region, untouched by logging, mining or petroleum extraction. The lodge was built in Achuar territory in 1993 and since 2000 it´s run by the community.
