Description:
This train station is located next to the city obelisk where the main parades and events take place. It was restored in 2011 and now features a tourist information point, a post office, a handicrafts square, a cafeteria, and an exhibition hall. The train route Ibarra – Salinas (1.5 hours) begins here and it includes a visit to the Salt Museum.
