Museum of The City
Description:
The Guayaquil municipal museum is the oldest museum in Ecuador; it was initially created as an industrial Museum in 1863, but it really was instituted as we see it today in 1908. It features the largest exhibition room in Guayaquil famous among painters and sculptors to exhibit their works. This museum presents various displays: archaeological, art collections and colonial time objects as well as pictures, portraits, coins, medals, books, etc.
