Calderón Park
Description:
From this park, the cathedrals of the city can be observed: El Sagrario which is the oldest one, and the Inmaculada Concepción which is the newer one. In its interior one can observe the monument to Abdon Calderon, hero of the Battle of Pichincha. In the outskirts of the park there are about 2,000 ornamental plants.
