Alausí Train Station
Description:
Alausí’s train station, the goal of most visitors, sits behind the small plaza at the north end of 5 de Junio Street. It is also the starting-off point for the Nariz del Diablo (Devil’s Nose) train. This engineering work is among the most audacious projects realized in the Andean mountain range.
This Station features other services such as “El Café del Tren” (the Trains Coffee Shop) and “La Plaza del Tren” a small handcrafts Market.
