Malecón 2000 - Crystal Palace
Description:
Known as Mercado Sur (Southern market) of Guayaquil, it has served as a focal point for the sale of food for the past 90 years. Today, it is the venue for cultural exhibitions and major events. It was created by representatives of Gustave Eiffel (the architect who built the Eiffel Tower). It is completely transparent and has an original structure in wrought iron.
