Ingapirca Ruins

Description:

These archaeological ruins are one of the most important remains of the history of the Cañari and Inca civilization. The complex featured the Temple of Pilaloma, the baths, the great court and cellars, the palaces, the ceremonial plaza, the Akllahuasi or convents, and the Temple of Ingapirca. This last one is characterized for its elliptical form which is unique in the world.
