Homero Ortega Straw Hat Museum
Description:
This museum has three rooms. The first one is dedicated to the history of the “sombrero de paja toquilla” toquilla straw hat; the second one is dedicated to the straw hat production process, and the last one to the Homero Ortega’s life whose business was dedicated to the manufacture of this piece that holds tradition and culture of the region. The Museum is located within the business facilities, so visitors have an interactive experience to engage directly with the production process.
