Quito Botanical Garden is a center of ex situ conservation of plant richness, especially of the Ecuadorian Andes. In this space are represented the 5 main habitats or eco-systems in the Andean region, which are wetlands, Cloud Forest, Wasteland, dry thorn scrub and a demonstration of Ethno Botanical Area.
