Cuicocha Lagoon
Description:
This lagoon, located 120 km. North of Quito at an altitude of 3,068 m.a.s.l. is formed inside a volcanic crater at the foot of the Cotacachi volcano. It has two small islets in its interior that can be visited on a tour by canoe. You can also walk around the crater in an 4 - 6 hours hike.
